AgTap
Designed by farmers, for farmers
Your whole farm, in one place
AgTap is a simple, fast way to map every well, pivot, grain bin,
building, and to-do on your farm — and to track every asset on the
operation: equipment, parts, maintenance, notes, and documents.
You and your team stay on the same page, even when you're not in
the same field.
What farmers like about AgTap
Pin every location
Wells, pivots, grain bins, buildings — drop pins on the map.
Tap any pin for info, to-dos, and full details. Upload poly
planner PDFs to the well that waters those fields — they're
right there when you need them.
See what's watering at a glance
Tap a field, tap the water toggle, and it lights up blue on the map.
One look and you know what's on, what's off, and where the water is
going. Every run gets logged automatically.
Drop to-dos anywhere
Pin a to-do anywhere on the farm — wells, pivots, buildings, fields,
or out on a levee. Crew taps the pin, hits navigate, and they're on
their way to it. Assign to specific team members, attach a photo,
check it off when done.
Ask AgTap chat anything
"What's the meter number for Bond well?" "Show me the maintenance
record for the Case 310 Magnum." AgTap answers — out loud or in text.
Send interactive maps
Paint fields by color (red = urea 100 lbs, blue = urea 50 lbs) and
text the link to your applicator. They see the same live map.
Send interactive to-dos
Text a to-do to a crew member or anyone else. They tap the link,
see the pin on the map, what needs doing, and the photo. One tap
to navigate. They check it off when done.
QR sticker every asset
Print stickers, slap them on a well or tractor. A phone scan brings
up full history — maintenance, parts, notes, to-dos.
Smart upload
Snap a photo of a handwritten well list or equipment sheet. AgTap
reads it and adds the records for you. No typing.
Layers that matter
Toggle FSA boundaries, your fields, crop colors, satellite. See
what you need, hide what you don't. Set your defaults in
Settings so the map always opens the way you like it.
Everyone on the same page
No more "what was the well number?" or "where is the Hughes well?"
or "what's the planter's serial number?" — crew finds info and
navigates straight to the spot on their own.
🔒 Your farm data stays yours
AgTap is a private account for your farm — nobody else can see your fields,
your wells, your equipment, or your to-dos. Your data lives in your account,
tied to your email, and we never share or sell it. AgTap runs on Google's
secure cloud — the same backbone behind Gmail and Drive — so your farm is
stored alongside billions of other accounts the world already trusts.
Export anytime. Delete anytime. It's yours.
Get to a useful state in 5 minutes: upload your shapefiles, drop a to-do,
add a well. You're already getting value before you've added everything.
The Map — your farm at a glance
Your fields, where they actually are
Upload shapefiles (.shp + .dbf + .shx + .prj) or just drop a .zip.
Bring your fields in as you have them — same boundaries, same acres, same
farm names. Or skip the upload and draw fields directly on the satellite map
with your finger.
- Automatic acre calculations from the polygon
- Field names and labels right on the map
- Tap any field to see acres, crop, watering status
Layers — show what you need, hide what you don't
One tap turns each layer on or off.
- Satellite — the base view, always there
- Field boundaries — your shapefiles
- FSA boundaries — reference your official farm/tract numbers without leaving the app
- Crop colors — color every field by crop type at a glance (corn, soybeans, rice, etc.)
- Map color — paint your fields blue, red, orange, or any color you like
- Roads — for when you're navigating
- Wells & markers — toggle to declutter
Locations — pin everything that matters
Wells, pivots, grain bins, buildings, anything
Add a location once, place its pin on the map, and it's there forever.
Each location holds way more than just a dot:
- Documents — upload poly planner PDFs, irrigation district docs, lease papers. They're there when you're standing in the field
- Notes log — quick text notes with timestamps, like "had to replace the gauge in May"
- To-Dos — everything pending and done for that location, in one list
- Maintenance log — what was done, when, by who
- Stock — what parts are on the shelf, with low-stock alerts
- Irrigation log — when water ran, on which fields, for how long
Tap a well, see everything
A tap on the map dot opens a card with everything you need.
Well number, meter number, gallons per minute, fields assigned,
current run status. Upload any reference info you want to keep handy —
PDFs, photos, maintenance notes — so it's all there when you're standing
at the well. Two more taps and you're navigating to it in Google or Apple Maps,
dropping a to-do on it, or opening its full detail page.
Equipment — track every machine
Tractors, trucks, sprayers, planters, and the rest
Every piece of equipment gets a record with year, make, model, serial,
hours, photos, and a full maintenance history. Stop digging through paper
receipts or trying to remember when the last oil change was.
- Hours & miles — update as you go, see them next to the asset on the map
- Maintenance log — every oil change, filter, repair with dates and notes
- Parts & stock — what's on the shelf in the shop, low-stock flags
- Photos — document damage or modifications visually
- To-dos tied to the equipment — "service the 8345RT" pops up on the right tractor
To-Dos — the daily driver
Drop a to-do anywhere on the farm
Tap the orange + button on the Map tab.
Pin it on a well, a field, or out in the middle of a levee.
Type what needs done. Attach a photo if it helps. Assign it to a crew
member. Done.
Equipment to-dos work a little differently — you create them from the
equipment record itself (the 2017 8345RT, the Magnum, etc.) since
tractors move around the farm and aren't pinned to one spot on the map.
From the To-Do tab, see everything that's pending across the whole
operation, filtered by:
- Person — "what's John supposed to be doing this week?"
- Location — "what's outstanding on Carr 3?"
- Equipment — "what does the 2017 8345RT need?"
- Just the pinned ones — map view of every outstanding to-do
Photos make it real
When you find a busted riser or a worn belt, snap a photo and pin it
as a to-do. Now the crew knows exactly what to look for before they
walk out there.
Share Field Plans — everyone on the same map
Paint fields. Send the link. Done.
Tap fields on the map and color them with the highlighter, then send the
whole live map to your applicator, your crew, or anyone else with a text or
email. They open the link — no app to install — and see the same
colored fields you painted.
- Fertilizer plan: red = urea 100 lbs, blue = urea 50 lbs — the applicator sees exactly which fields get which rate
- Plugging list: paint the fields that need to be plugged, send the link to whoever's plugging
- Burndown plan: color by herbicide rate
- Anything you'd normally text a map screenshot of — now it's interactive and zoomable
No app, no problem
📱 The recipient doesn't need an account
Whether it's a fertilizer plan or a single to-do, the link works
for anyone with a phone. They tap it, the interactive map opens
in their browser, and they see exactly what they need to do.
No download. No login. No setup on their end.
Same for to-dos
Text a single to-do to a crew member or anyone else. They tap the link
and see the pin on a live map, the note, any photo you attached, and a
one-tap navigate button to drive straight to it. They check it off when
it's done.
- "Fix the leak at Bond well" — pin + photo + navigate
- "Walk the levee on Carr 3" — pin on the field edge
- "Pick up gearheads from the shop" — location pin
QR Stickers — tap the asset, see the asset
Print, stick, scan
Generate a QR sticker for any well, pivot, or piece of equipment.
Print on regular paper or sticker stock, slap it on the asset. From then on,
anyone with a phone can scan the QR and pull up that asset's full record —
notes, maintenance, parts, photos, to-dos. No app required, no logging in.
Perfect for crew who don't need the whole app — just point and scan
when they're standing at a well or under a hood.
AI Chat — ask your farm
"What's the meter number for Bond well?"
AgTap knows your farm. Ask it anything — out loud or in text —
and get an answer back. No menus to navigate, no forms to scroll.
You:
What's the meter number for Bond well?
AgTap:
Bond well's meter number is AM12900148.
You:
Show me the maintenance history of the Case 310 Magnum.
AgTap:
Case 310 Magnum — last 3 entries:
• Mar 14 — oil change at 4,210 hours
• Feb 2 — replaced air filter
• Jan 18 — checked hydraulic lines, no leaks
You:
Add a to-do to pick up gearheads and assign it to John.
AgTap:
Done. Added "Pick up gearheads" to John's list. Anything else?
- Tap the mic to ask out loud — works hands-free in the truck or shop
- Answers come from your real farm data, not a generic assistant
- Create to-dos by talking — say "add a to-do to check pressure on Bond well" and it's on the list, ready to assign
- Schedule maintenance or log a note the same way
Smart Upload — snap a photo, AgTap does the rest
Stop typing lists by hand
Got a paper list of wells from the drilling company? A handwritten
sheet of equipment serial numbers? A spreadsheet printout?
Take a picture with your phone. AgTap reads it, pulls out the names,
numbers, and notes, and adds them as real records. Review, confirm, done.
- Works for wells, equipment, anything in a list format
- Handles printed AND handwritten text
- You review before it saves — nothing surprises you
- Especially useful when you're first getting set up
Privacy — your farm, your data
🔒 Nobody but you sees your farm
AgTap is a private account tied to your email and password. Your fields,
wells, equipment, to-dos, photos, and documents are visible only to you.
Not to other farmers. Not to applicators (unless you send them a link).
Not to AgTap staff.
Built on Google's secure cloud.
AgTap runs on the same Google infrastructure behind Gmail, Drive, and
Google Photos — think of it like having a private Gmail account just for
your farm, with the same kind of cloud storage. Encrypted in transit and
at rest.
Your data is never sold or shared.
We don't use it for anything other than running your account.
You can export it anytime. You can delete it anytime. If you
ever decide AgTap isn't for you, your data leaves with you.

hired hands see the work — wells, maintenance, to-dos —
without ever seeing the books.
